3. Conceptual Visualization — Not Construction Documents
All design visualizations are conceptual and illustrative.
Dager Design Collective does not provide licensed architectural, engineering, construction, surveying, or landscape architecture services.
Our designs are not intended to serve as:
- Construction drawings
- Building plans
- Engineering specifications
- Permit applications
- Structural assessments
- Code-compliance certifications
- Exact measurements or product-fit guarantees
- Professional installation instructions
Some visualized improvements may require building permits, professional evaluations, or modifications to comply with local requirements.
Customers are responsible for consulting qualified contractors and other licensed professionals before purchasing materials, modifying structures, or beginning construction.
We do not guarantee that every visualized element is physically feasible, structurally appropriate, available for purchase, or permitted under local regulations.
4. AI-Assisted Visualization
Dager Design Collective combines personal design direction with modern visualization technology, including artificial intelligence.
Design decisions, project direction, and creative recommendations are personally guided and reviewed. Digital tools help communicate the proposed design.
AI-assisted images may differ from actual construction results, including differences in:
- Dimensions and proportions
- Architectural details
- Surface textures and finishes
- Paint color appearance
- Furniture placement and scale
- Lighting and shadows
- Landscaping maturity
- Existing structural features
- Product availability or appearance
Visualizations are not exact technical representations of a completed project.
Customers should independently verify materials, measurements, and specifications before implementing recommendations.
5. Submitting a Project Inquiry
Customers may submit inquiries through our website's secure Start Your Project form.
We may request:
- Contact information
- Project descriptions
- Design preferences
- Existing-property photographs
- Inspiration photographs
- Budget information
- Selected service packages
Submitting an inquiry does not constitute acceptance of the project or create a payment obligation.
Each inquiry is reviewed before we decide whether to accept the project.
We may request additional information, recommend a different package, or decline an inquiry when the requested work falls outside our services or available capacity.
If a project is accepted, we will confirm the service scope, agreed price, and next steps before payment.
6. Customer Photographs and Submitted Materials
Customers must own or have appropriate permission to provide photographs, inspiration materials, and other content submitted for their project.
Customers should avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information, such as financial documents, identifying records, security codes, or personal information visible in photographs.
By submitting project materials, customers grant Dager Design Collective permission to use and process those materials as reasonably necessary to evaluate the inquiry and perform the requested design services.
This may include processing materials through third-party digital design and AI-assisted visualization providers, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Submitting photographs does not grant Dager Design Collective permission to publish them for advertising, social media, or portfolio use.
Public use requires separate appropriate permission.
Customers retain their rights to original materials, subject to any third-party rights.
7. Project Acceptance and Payments
After reviewing a project, Dager Design Collective will confirm the agreed service and price.
Payments are handled through Stripe or another identified secure payment provider.
Customers receive a payment link after their project is approved.
Design work generally begins after payment is confirmed and the necessary project information has been received.
Dager Design Collective does not collect credit-card numbers through its standard project inquiry form.
Customers will be informed of applicable service charges before payment.
Additional services, revised project scopes, or extra revisions will require customer approval before any additional charges are collected.
8. Design Packages and Revisions
Each service package includes the deliverables and revisions described on our Services page or in the confirmed project agreement.
A revision is a reasonable adjustment to the agreed design direction.
Examples may include changes to selected colors, materials, furnishings, or decorative elements within the original scope.
Requests for entirely new concepts, additional rooms, substantially different exterior schemes, or expanded design services may require a separate fee.
Any additional charges will be communicated before the work is performed.
9. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Dager Design Collective provides personalized creative design services. Refund eligibility depends on the stage of the project.
Before Design Work Begins
Customers may cancel and receive a full refund if design work has not yet begun.
After Design Work Begins
If a customer cancels after design work has started, refunds will depend on the amount of work already completed.
Dager Design Collective will review the completed work and provide a reasonable explanation of any amount retained.
Any remaining refundable balance will be returned through the original payment method when possible.
After Final Design Delivery
Once the agreed final design deliverables have been provided, payments are generally nonrefundable, except where required by applicable law or when Dager Design Collective has failed to provide the agreed services.
If We Cannot Complete a Project
If Dager Design Collective is unable to fulfill an accepted project, the customer will receive an appropriate refund for services not provided.
Requesting a Cancellation or Refund
Customers may contact hello@dagerdesigncollective.com to request cancellation or discuss a refund.
Approved refunds are processed through the applicable payment provider and may take additional time to appear depending on the customer's financial institution.
Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
10. Project Timelines and Communication
Project delivery estimates may be communicated after an inquiry is reviewed.
Timelines depend on project complexity, the completeness of submitted information, customer responsiveness, and the agreed scope.
Any specific delivery deadline expressly accepted in writing will govern that project.
Customers are encouraged to respond promptly when clarification, measurements, or design feedback is requested.
If circumstances affect an agreed timeline, we will communicate the issue and discuss available next steps.
11. Design Toolkits and Product Recommendations
An optional Design Toolkit may contain suggested products, furnishings, materials, finishes, shopping links, and color information.
These recommendations are provided as design guidance.
Product availability, prices, dimensions, colors, and specifications may change without notice.
Customers are responsible for confirming measurements, compatibility, availability, warranties, and ordering information with the relevant retailer or supplier.
Dager Design Collective does not manufacture, supply, install, or warrant third-party products unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement.
Any material affiliate or referral compensation associated with product links will be disclosed as required.
12. Ownership and Personal Use of Deliverables
Customers retain rights to the original photographs and materials they provide, subject to any third-party rights.
After full payment, customers receive a nonexclusive, perpetual license to use their delivered design materials for personal purposes relating to their property.
This includes sharing concepts with family members, contractors, installers, or suppliers when evaluating or implementing the proposed project.
Commercial resale or redistribution of complete branded design presentations requires separate written permission.
Dager Design Collective retains rights it holds in its original brand identity, templates, presentation layouts, and other preexisting materials.
Some AI-generated content may not qualify for copyright protection. Neither party receives exclusive rights to general design ideas, styles, color combinations, or commonly used architectural elements.
13. Portfolio and Marketing Permission
Dager Design Collective may invite customers to permit their projects to appear in our portfolio or promotional materials.
Permission is optional and not required to purchase our services.
We will not automatically publish customer-submitted photographs or design visualizations merely because a project was submitted or completed.
Where permission is granted, the public presentation will distinguish conceptual design work from actual completed construction.
Customers may contact us regarding the scope of any marketing permission or requests affecting future use.
14. Privacy and Data Protection
Customer information and submitted materials are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We use website hosting, private digital storage, email services, payment processors, and design technology providers to operate our business.
We take reasonable steps to protect submitted information, but no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
Customers should review the Privacy Policy before uploading property photographs or other personal information.
15. Design Expectations and Third-Party Work
Dager Design Collective aims to provide thoughtful, personalized design guidance and visualizations consistent with the agreed project scope.
Individual design preferences are subjective, and no particular aesthetic reaction or increase in property value is guaranteed.
We are not responsible for construction work, installation, manufacturing, material defects, product delivery, or services independently provided by third parties.
Customers should independently assess the suitability of recommendations before implementing them.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Dager Design Collective is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from reliance on conceptual visualizations or the work of independent third parties.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other obligations that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Customers retain all nonwaivable rights and remedies available under applicable law.
17. Appropriate Website Use
Visitors agree not to:
- Submit fraudulent or misleading project information
- Upload material they do not have permission to share
- Attempt unauthorized access to private customer or administrator systems
- Interfere with website security or operation
- Use our services for unlawful activities
We may refuse or discontinue services where appropriate, subject to existing agreements and applicable law.
18. Changes to These Terms
Dager Design Collective may update these Terms as services, technology, or legal requirements change.
The current version will be posted on our website with its effective date.
Updated terms generally apply prospectively. Changes to an accepted project will not override its existing agreed terms without appropriate notice or agreement.
19. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Indiana, United States, without overriding mandatory consumer protections applicable in a customer's jurisdiction.
